The second volume of our "materials" texture-CD-line contains an extensive collection of natural wood textures. They are completely made of real photos tailored to the needs of the 3D production. You will find seamless textures and also Bump-Maps on the CD. The textures mirrors a realism you can only find in the real nature. Many of the woods are stressed and aged at different levels. Scratches and cracks, bleached or flaked colors, dirty or mossy edges makes your work varied, unique and credible.

We have deliberately made not all textures tileable both in horizontal and vertical direction, because of the risk of geting lost the interesting structures. Therefore you will find textures on the CD that are tileable in one direction (horizontal or vertical), in two directions (horizontal and vertical) and textures you use as a single picture. Some of the textures are available both in a tileable and in a non-tileable version.

The original file was a 1,2 Gb file size with the testures in tiff format , this release are the same textures ( color and bumpmaps ) but in jpeg format , the same quality in just under 300 Mb

With the Texture Aging Kit users will find animation tasks involving aged looks easier and less time-consuming. The 300 texture-aging layers can be added and mixed with any textures the user is already working with, thereby expanding creative & artistic options.
The TAK enables the avid and occasional user of a broad range of animation software platforms to take surfaces and objects that look too clean and pristine (i.e. rather unrealistic) and add a touch of reality by giving them an appearance of "having faced wind and rain", of "having been bleached by the sun" etc. Shiny metals can be made looking rusty and corroded, paint can receive a cracked or peeling look, stone and concrete can be aged with moisture stains, moldy deposit, moss growth etc.
